How many grafts am I going to need?
The number of grafts used depends on several factors and it is estimated first, and then finalized and determined individually for each of our clients during their visit, thus, the final number of grafts may be subject to change. That's why we don't change our prices according to the number of grafts. A successful operation is our priority over everything else
Am I too old/young for hair transplantation?
Hair transplantation is recommended based on the patient's medical condition, hair profile and hair loss stage. Apart from this, there is no particular restriction regarding age for having a hair transplantation procedure.
How long does it take
The duration of the hair transplantation operation depends on several factors, but usually it takes from 6 to 8 hours in total. The number of grafts is the most important determinant for the duration. In addition to the lunch break, you are free to take as many breaks as necessary during the entire operation.
Am I going to be sleeping through it
Hair transplantation is done under local anesthesia applied under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, using the most commonly used combinations. You will be awake and conscious during the procedure unless you prefer to take a nap.
Is it going to be painful?
We use standard local anaesthesia under the supervision of our anesthesiologists. It won't be painful during the operation.We use painless anaesthesia technique. Afterwards, you may feel an itching sensation but please bear in mind that this is a natural part of the healing process and please don't scratch your head. The products included with your treatment and proper personal care will minimize all complaints in a very short time.
How soon will I see the results?
Hair transplantation is a minimally invasive operation, and post-operational recovery is quick. After the operation, only small scabs on the transplanted area and tiny red dots at the donor area can be observed. 15 days after the operation, the donor and transplanted area will return to their normal appearance. After two months your transplanted hair will start to grow. From 4 to 6 months post surgery, the growth rate will increase and by the 6th month the patient will be able to observe the first results of his/her hair transplant procedure. After the first month your transplanted hair will start to grow rapidly. In 4th to 6th month post surgery, the turnover rate will increase and by the 6th month the patient will be able to see the permanent hair that won't fall off. Around 12 months after a hair transplant procedure you will be able to observe the final outcome of your operation.
